FOOD PAIRING: The Peranzana is highly appreciated in the kitchen for its versatility. It is used in a variety of preparations; it goes well with raw dishes such as salads, mozzarella and burrata cheese but can also be used to add flavour to pulses soups, when cooking white meat, or when preparing raw fish and shellfish dishes. Organic extra virgin olive oil. Olive oil obtained directly from olives and solely by mechanical methods. What is the Bag in Box?

The Bag in Box is a container made of recyclable material for liquid food products, consisting of a bag made of polyethylene material and a box that protects the bag itself from shocks and sunlight.

The tap or valve is located inside the bag: it is used to dispense the liquid, and is designed so that once it has been dispensed, it automatically closes again to prevent outside air from entering, which would spoil or oxidise the oil.

The main feature of the Bag in Box is that the aluminium bag is filled to the maximum so that there can be no more air inside, because oxygen risks altering the organoleptic qualities of the oil, as happens for example with oil left in uncorked bottles.
